Position Summary: *
This position coordinates activities associated with procurement of products for the company.

• Daily review of assigned vendor movement reports for replenishment determination, with preparation and submission of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with various departments regarding product availability, backorder, and purchase order status; short pays on shipments; deliveries and receipt processing and cycle counts on item short paid or open on purchase orders.
• Obtain product availability and delivery schedules from vendors.
• Expedite delivery of goods as needed.
• Discuss defective or unacceptable products with vendors.
• Monthly review of product dating to include return request as needed.
• Maintain inventory turns per Company’s standards.
• Maximize daily vendor activities to increase customer fill rates.
• Monthly review of surplus inventory report and coordination of product return and/or exchange.
• Back up on processing Pedigrees and recalls.
• Perform duties with moderate supervision.
• All employees are expected to protect the confidentiality of patient health information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience: *

• Minimum High School diploma; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 - 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a Health Care setting
• Must understand and be proficient in ERP and DRP environment.
• Must have ability to evaluate data, make mathematical calculations and apply appropriate update to system.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Analytical experience preferred (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik…etc)
