Midwest Petroleum Equipment is seeking to add a team member who wants to be part of a fun & hard-working team culture with opportunities for advancement. MPE is the area’s leading developer of retail gas stations and private fuel systems and is seeking two individuals to join the service operations team. This position will be responsible for dispatching service technicians daily to meet customer service needs. The ideal candidates will be able to communicate with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate unbeatable problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in closing service calls and invoicing
• Prepare and send construction invoices
• Prepare and send service invoices and account updates to clients
• Timely and accurate preparation of warranty billing
• Keep an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances
• Help customers understand billing and charges for which they are responsible
• Processing credit memos.
• Attention to detail with data entry, updating information in a timely manner throughout the day
• Answering phones, responding to customers/technicians requests or transferring to the necessary department
• Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites/portals
• Coordinating with internal team members on small construction billing

Education and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a customer service field
• Service billing is preferred
• On the job training

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete assignments on time
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Eager to quickly master software system
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
• Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
• Sense of urgency and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

Hours:

• This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
