We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a Benefits Compliance Consultant to join our growing team in Maitland, Florida.
Individual’s primary responsibility involves the oversite of the regulatory and legislative information within the Employee Benefits Department. The majority of time will be spent in a decision-making capacity, exercising discretion within the employee benefits area. Communicating benefit programs and interpreting related policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. May focus locally, regionally, or nationally.

General Responsibilities:

Train Benefit Producers and team members on compliance strategies for clients and prospects.

Evaluates client compliance status as it pertains to their Health and Welfare plans and provide client with solutions to ensure they are meeting legislative regulations.

Prepares and reviews client Section 125/Cafeteria Plan/POP and wrap document(s) through our internal document portal.

Monitor, analyze and recommend compliance actions for new and evolving benefit legislation.

Work closely with outside or internal legal advisors to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree (BA).

3 years of employee benefit compliance experience.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Sound judgment, good decision-making abilities, analytical skills and integrity.

2-15 Life and Health License.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office.
