Job Description:

Alvarado Parkway Institute is seeking a qualified clinician, licensed or registered to join our team as a Full-Time Behavioral Health Therapist for our Outpatient Services Program in La Mesa! The successful candidate will have sound clinical experience in the facilitation of group psychotherapy, can provide brief solution-focused individual psychotherapy and have excellent documentation skills. Familiarity in developing treatment plans, self-harm intervention plans, and conducting psychosocial assessments preferred. The La Mesa location serves an adult population of consumers with chronic mental health diagnosis (i.e. depression and anxiety). The multi-disciplinary treatment team provides recovery-oriented treatment in a patient-centered, success-oriented approach. Persons served also include those with trauma and abuse or co-occurring mental health issue.

Job Type:

This is a Full-Time, Monday thru Friday position.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in social work, MFT, psychology, or equivalent masters degree in a recognized mental health field.
• Registration or Licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, or Board of Psychology is required.
• Skilled in case management and time management.
