Baylor Plan Weekend Package - Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job at Folkston Park Care & Rehab
Folkston Park Care and Rehab is hiring a REGISTERED NURSE (RN) or LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to work providing both short term rehabilitation and long-term care on the BAYLOR PLAN/WEEKEND PACKAGE
All new hires must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have a medical or religious accommodation before you start.
Baylor Plan/Weekend Package Sign-On Bonus for RN/LPN, Full-time: $5,000/Part-time: $2,500
2x12 hour shifts- you considered part time and would not be eligible for benefits and only ½ the SOB amount.
2x16 hour shifts- you are full time and eligible for the full SOB and benefits.
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers.
Requirements:
- The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
Baylor Plan/Weekend Package Perimeters:
- Applies only to Saturdays and Sundays
- When an employee works 2 (two) 12-hr shifts, totaling 24 hrs., pay will be for 30 hrs. (Part Time)
- When an employee works 2 (two) 16-hr shifts, totaling 32 hrs., pay will be for 40 hrs. (Full-Time)
- Only 1 (one) weekend per quarter may be requested off, totaling 4 (four) weekends per year.
- Only 1 (one) holiday may be requested off per year.
- No shift differential pay.is offered.
- If an employee calls out for a shift during the pay period, payments for the entire pay period will be forfeited
- If you call out for more than 3 separate shifts, you will no longer be eligible to work on the plan/package.
