CONTROL SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER

REPORTS TO: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS)

Compensation for this position: $60,000-$115,000 annually

OVERVIEW:

This position exists to differentiate Encore Electric designs and installations though the quality and performance of Audio-Visual Control System Programming and Engineering leading to highly reliable system operations and customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive and impactful UI/GUI design
• Produce detailed, complete and constructible software programming in compliance with design and engineering drawings and sequence of operation of systems
• Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of standardized best practices and products used by Encore Electric for the design, installation and testing of AV systems
• Take ownership for the overall control system programming, troubleshooting/debugging, and quality of Audio Visual (AV) systems for projects sold and supported by Encore Electric
• Consult and assist for active customer jobs and service calls
• Ownership and resolution of high-level technical escalations as the company subject matter expert
• Actively participate in Encore Electric safety meetings and training activities
• Ensure safety policies and practices are followed in project design and execution
• Participate in Project Management support activities such as cost forecasting and budget tracking, and other project reviews as required

REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, IT, Programming, Computer Science, Management) is preferred with a minimum of five years verifiable experience developing and programming for deployment of QSC - QSYS, Crestron, SIMPL#, Extron – Global Configurator along with CTS-D, CCNA, CCDA, or other industry AV certifications showing knowledge of AV systems and supporting network configurations being required. OSHA Safety Certifications is preferred along with PMP and/or CTS-I Certification.

The below items are also preferred:

• Experience with multi-zone, multi-scene lighting systems and related lighting control equipment and control interfaces such as Lutron, Encelium, Legrand
• Crestron Master Certified Programmer – Gold, Platinum, Diamond Level
• Harman Certified Control Associate/Professional - Programming
• Experience with building automation systems, including, HVAC, security, lighting, access control
• Experience with control system, integrated “help desk” projects, using Crestron Fusion, Extron Global Viewer, etc.
