Assistant Maintenance Man needed for a 224 unit property in Waco Texas. The assistant lead maintenance role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities for the property, which includes managing all maintenance and housekeeping staff, as well as, third-party contractors. This individual should be experienced in all levels of apartment maintenance, with a well-rounded background in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance maintenance, development of onsite maintenance personnel. Must be reliable and dependable and thick skinned. Must be able to handle stress and pressure and be able to be persistent at doing everything and anything to make the property run efficiently and profitably . We have a great staff, we just need a assistant maintenance who can manage and direct them . This is not a job for quitters or people who leave in a whim just because their feelings get hurt. If you are that person then this will be the best job you have ever had guaranteed. We do not offer Insurance, however we do give collection bonuses that overcompensate for that issue. (ranging from $500 to over $2000 )The salary is $4000 per month (based on experience )and we do have employee discounts for those who want to live on property. Those are available at a 25% discount after the first 30 to 60 days working for us . You can make as much money at this job as you want to we have no problem giving raises quickly to those who show us they deserve it!.You just have to prove your value through the work ethic that you display. We built this apartment community and have managed it for the past 22 years. In other words we are not going to sell it and if you become valuable to us You will not be replaced . We do not accept felonies or any serious criminal records such as Theft, burglary ,robbery ,aggravated assault etc.
Must be able to start immediately. We understand about the two week notice however our property is our number one concern and we simply can’t wait two weeks.
