The Royal Group (TRG) currently has a position open for an Assembly & Converting Coordinator in Sidney, Ohio. The Assembly & Converting Coordinator overseas and coordinates the safe production of quality products in a clean environment by directing, scheduling, organizing, and monitoring staff and workflow.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
  • Build and maintain a culture to promote a positive, safe and quality driven work environment.
  • Production planning.
  • Utilizing production resources to meet the needs of the customer requirements.
  • Tracking performance metrics and establish countermeasures for missed rates.
  • Performing incoming inspections.
  • Track and manage inventory of assembly components and finished goods
  • Training new employees.
  • Ensuring product quality by performing in process inspections.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Material handling.
  • Assisting with assembly as needed.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in a production or leadership environment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • Lean certifications.
  • Conflict avoidance certifications.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification.
  • First responder training/certification.
  • Basic understanding of machine operations.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues as it relates to product quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Read blueprints/drawings.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from local management team.
  • Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, and rate.
  • Able to apply concepts of high school math.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Waterjet experience, preferred.
  • Die cut experience, preferred.
