Title: Arts Education Program Manager

Overview:

The Center for Educational Innovation (CEI), a not-for-profit educational organization that works with traditional public schools and public charter schools, is seeking to fill the full-time position of Program Coordinator for its Arts Education Department.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Arts Education, the Arts Education Program Manager plays a key role in coordinating the daily operations of CEI’s arts education programs serving public schools. Programs use an arts integrated model by utilizing arts-based strategies to directly teach academic content and strengthen social emotional learning skills. This individual will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with teaching artists, school and district sites and all partners to ensure a high standard of program delivery.
  • Program coordination including documentation and assisting with the coordination of lesson plan development and events.
  • Maintaining and regularly communicating budgets associated with arts education programs at various schools.
  • Supporting the Executive Director with scheduling, communication, and administration of the arts education programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the executive director.

Individual must have experience with program management, arts education and/or working with NYC public schools, be highly organized and self-motivated, have experience managing programs and expertise with Google Suite programs, and have a background in the field of arts education or in K-12 education. This person reports to the Executive Director of Arts Education.

Qualifications:

- BA or BS degree

- 3 + years of relevant work experience

- Excellent program management skills and experience

- Expertise with Microsoft Office and Google Suite – Photoshop a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly organized and self-motivated

- Experience hosting Video Meetings (Zoom, Meets, Teams)

Position:

Start Date: Immediately

Job Type: Full-Time

Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000 per year

Benefits: Personal/Vacation, Health Insurance Option

Work Location: Currently Remote (eventually In-Person)

  • Typical start time: 9AM
  • Typical end time: 5PM
  • Overtime often available: No
  • Workdays: Monday – Friday
