Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully.

Our Business Office has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who is responsible for performing and maintaining the billing, collection, and related cash application functions of Family Services and to assist in on-going process changes. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of bills and claims to clients, insurance companies, Medical Assistance, and Medicare in accordance with regulations that govern. This position maintains an audit trail of detailed, organized, and accurate notes of activity, direction, and actions taken in the course of maintaining and collecting accounts while complying with agency confidentiality policy and assuring the confidentiality of agency accounting records and the accurate, timely processing of receivable information and related reporting.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma and two years of medical billing experience. Candidates must be organized and detail oriented in order to effectively manage the accounts receivable functions of Family Services. Qualified candidates will also be self-starters in order to recommend change and work with minimal supervision yet is able to take direction. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staffing inside and outside the department are also required.
