Pritchard Industries, a National Facilities Service Company, is seeking an experienced Accounting Associate with expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Accounting Associate is primarily responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions for our Corporate AP & AR department. The accounting associate should have the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth operations. They will undertake a variety of activities in accounting ranging from invoicing, filing, reconciliation, purchasing, and accounts payable. They must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will be familiar with office equipment and accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous knowledge of accounting aspects, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable
  • Must be able to maintain the normal standard of ethics, conduct and organization policies in job related activities
  • Must have an excellent command of the English language
  • Must have excellent knowledge of office administrative procedures and the use and operation of standard office equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Dynamic SL accounting software preferred
  • Some analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands, and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate
  • Must be willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary to meet a goal
  • Must be a self-starter, working well without close supervision
  • Must achieve goals beyond minimal levels of performance
  • Must be able to establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks
  • High School Diploma or GED and some college credits along with two (2) years’ experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily perform other duties upon request by the Corporate Accounting Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Corporate Office Accounting Manager
  • Uses time efficiently and is personally well organized
  • Keep Corporate Accounting Manager informed of progress and any problems
  • Filing of AP information gathered, obtained in the course of performing the job functions
  • Requires flexibility and able to handle other administrative duties assigned by Corporate Accounting Manager
