Title: Material / Bulk Handler Lead
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Department: Logistics
Supervises: N/A
Organizational Relationships: All employees in assigned department, all support areas.
Basic Function: Guide and Lead as well as support assigned production areas and material/bulk handlers with proper approved materials required for filling.
Responsibilities:
1.Capable of training and guidingall Material and Bulk Handlers
2.Capable of organizing supplies in neat and orderly fashion.
3.Capable of inventorying customer and/or kdc/one items as requested.
4.Must be able to order materials and supplies in correct amounts from proper sources and verify them upon arrival to be certain they are adequate and correct.
5.Must be able to place materials and supplies in correct location by production lines to promote ease of operation and optimum production.
6.Needs to plan ahead to assure production lines do not run out of supplies.
7.Must deliver production to shipping or designated area according to customer specifications and in good condition.
8.Must assure that assigned area is in compliance with all G.M.P.’s.
9.Responsible for maintaining clean, orderly work area by daily cleaning as required.(May include sweeping, mopping, etc.)
10.Requires minimal supervision.
11.Must keep aisles clear, floor free of straps, and pallets arranged so employees are safe.
Qualifications:
1.High School diploma.
2.Basic computer literacy.
3.Certification as a power industrial truck operator – on as need basis.
4.Good organizational skills.
5.Five to eight years progressive experience as a material handler preferably in a manufacturing environment.
6.Display good organization and administrative skills.
7.Must be able to lift/pull and push.
8.Knowledge of Production GMP’s and safety procedures.
