Welder / Fabricator Job at Homer Companies
Job Title: Welder/Fabricator: Full Time
Department: Track and Tire Leasing: Fleet Shop
Summary: Track and Tire Leasing, a division of Homer Tree Companies, a large, fast paced fleet shop, seeks experienced individuals to help maintain equipment. Welding tasks consist of basic repairs to complete rebuilding and fabrication projects. Disassembly and assembly of equipment may be required. Experience in aluminum welding is a plus.
Qualifications & Essential Duties:
- Familiar with a variety of welder concepts, practices, and procedures,
- Stick weld,
- Mig weld,
- Effective use of oxy/acetylene torch,
- Effectively operate electric tools such as a drill press, band saw, etc.,
- Read a tape measure and other measuring tools efficiently,
- Demonstrate willingness to work with others in a team environment and to brainstorm with team members on current and upcoming projects.
