We are seeking a dependable Welder on 1st shift. Parker Hannifin offers competitive pay with the starting rate for this position currently at $23.17 per hour with the opportunity to move up to $26.55 within 18 months. Parker Hannifin also offers comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k/retirement planning benefits, merit increases, and quarterly profit sharing bonus'. Additionally, we are offering a SIGN ON BONUS up to $1,500 after six (6) months of full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Welds metal components together with a variety of welding techniques and equipment to fabricate or repair products or components.
- Sets up machines and selects proper electrodes.
- Handles and positions work with or without use of fixtures.
- Follows WPS.
- Performs SPCs.
- Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
- Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with an emphasis in metal shop; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- WABO Certification Required.
- Ability to read drawings and a decimal tape.
- Proficient with hand tools.
