MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING 1st and 2nd shift Welders in the Greendale, Indiana, area!

$16.00 - $18.00 / hour

Shifts:

1st: 7:30AM to 4PM, Monday – Friday
2nd: 3:45PM to 12:15AM, Monday – Friday

**Must be willing and able to work occasional OVERTIME as needed**

Welder job duties:

• Assembles and welds pieces of metal together or repairs damage in metal components for bank security items, such as safes, teller window, pneumatic tubes, and deposit boxes
• Uses heavy machinery that emits high heat to melt and weld metal into shape
• Cuts metal into appropriate shapes and smooths molten metal to remove creases
• Reads and understands blueprints and sources the materials prior to starting a welding project
• Measures and cuts materials to specifications
• Inspects finished weld work to make sure it meets the tolerances marked on the blueprints
• Runs PEM Press as needed
• Maintains a clean work area
• Performs other related duties and assists in different areas as assigned

Welder skills & requirements:

• Welding experience REQUIRED
• Interview REQUIRED prior to start
• General knowledge of hand tools
• Basic computer and math skills
• Can read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions
• Must pass National Background and 10 panel mouth swab
• Will accept misdemeanor based on case
• No PPE required
• On-site training provided
