Position Description
Origis Energy is looking for a Warranty Manager to join our diverse and growing team. The ideal candidate, reporting to our Director, Quality will be focused on management of all warranty claims and support of EPC & Services.
The position of Warranty Manager is a regular, full-time position, and is eligible for our generous employee benefits package, including employer paid health insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, and other great benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- The Warranty Manager is responsible for managing the warranty phase of all projects.
- Serve as primary contact for all warranty issues.
- Works with EPC partners to address and resolve warranty claims from operations or clients.
- Coordinate with internal resources and subcontractors to ensure all claims are addressed in timely fashion, within-scope and while maintaining necessary financial spending controls.
- Manage warranty claims filed by Origis Services with third parties including EPC partners, equipment and material manufacturers and subcontractors.
- Maintain proper warranty records/documentation to ensure contract compliance and warranty requirements
- Negotiate, draft and execute end of warranty settlements.
- Create and maintain component warranty documentation.
- At all times the Warranty Manager shall keep updated an aggregated Warranty Claim Log and distribute to the EPC and Services teams monthly.
- Lead the compilation of regular reporting regarding component failure rates, improvement plans, warranty claim rates, average expenditure under warranty period, etc.
- Responsible to mange to a budget and report budget adherence.
- Design best in class warranty process so Origis Energy remains an industry leader in warranty management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key Attributes for Success
- Strong technical skills in relation to all aspects of a working PV solar facility
- Have the technical knowledge and understanding to competently review each warranty claim for validity.
- Ability and desire to negotiate warranty claims with internal and external customers.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives
- Must communicate and collaborate well within large team and field personnel
- Strong customer focus
- 3-5 years of direct field personal management
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to provide any reporting requirements.
- Travel as required

Location Miami, FL; Austin, TX; or San Diego, CA is preferred but remote of this position is an option
