Warehouse Manager Job at Gordon Bros. Steel Warehouse
The experienced Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficiency, maximize productivity and will:
- Lead and manage warehouse employees to implement on-time customer order completion,
- Enforce and monitor production schedules to ensure accurate and timely order completion.
- Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels.
- Check orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintain records and prepare necessary documentation.
- Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Perform daily inspection of the warehouse facility and grounds.
- Coordinate inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- Communicate and coordinate with co-workers, vendors and customers.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Previous experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor in the steel industry.
- Time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer/technical skills.
- Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
