We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. In this position you will be responsible for picking/put away product accurately and efficiently and ensure inventory accuracy. With the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in generating customer order pull lists from Oracle
• Pick product for customer orders & stage in designated shipping locations
• Placement of all finished goods inventory stock into racks
• Maintenance of locations on all inventories
• Help establish locations for inventory on all new product
• Assist in inventory verification by daily cycle counts
• Keep inventory area clean and organized. 5S
• Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies to the appropriate Team Leaders or manager
• Assists with tasks as required by the other Logistics departments
• Assists in inventory processes, including, but not limited to physical inventory and cycle counting
• Assists in disposal of surplus and obsolete inventory
• Assists in system and process enhancements
• Follow the documented ISO-9000:2000 plus the TS16949:2002 (preferred) documented inventory control function
• All other duties assigned

Education:

• Must have high school diploma or GED

Experience/Skills/Requirements:

• Shipping, warehouse, quality control experience a plus
• Must be able to calculate simple math, use a calculator, with accuracy & efficiency to successfully complete essential functions
• Must be able to communicate verbally in English to a variety of internal personnel regarding movement of material, and trucking vendors
• Must be productive in a team environment
• Forklift certification required in specific areas
• Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company

Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
