Responsibilities:
- Complete lift truck checklist at designated times. If truck fails any part of the checklist, then the issue must be corrected immediately by warehouse employee or communicated to management if the issue is too severe for the employee to correct. Checklist must be filled out daily and turned in weekly.
- Follow all GFT safety rules.
- Certified to drive single pole lifts, double pole lifts, squeeze lifts, and fork lifts.
- Ability to unload/load all trucks without causing damage to the truck. If damage occurs, it is the warehouse employee’s responsibility to report the damage to management before the truck leaves the property. Pictures must be taken of the damage before the truck can leave.
- Complete a trailer inspection audit for each trailer that is unloaded or loaded each day.
- Ability to unload and load all trucks within the time constraints allowed for the loads. Load/unload times are assigned daily by shipping/receiving department.
- Ability to verify that each load of raw material or indirect material has been shipped to GFT correctly by verifying that the packing list matches the material on the load that is being received. It is a requirement that each bale of fiber be individually checked off the packing list to verify receipt of all bales. The check off procedure is required before bill of lading is signed and before the truck driver leaves GFT.

- Loading and unloading all material using assigned lifts without damage to material. Damage includes tearing plastic wrapping, damaging tickets, damaging the tube, damaging the roll build, getting the material dirty, or damaging the material.
- Rolls that have been sitting in inventory and have fiber build up on them must be blown off and free of fiber before loading the roll(s) onto the truck
- Ability to document exactly what is being loaded on the trucks and report the information accurately to the shipping department. Rolls on load sheets must be checked off after each tier is loaded onto the trailer.
- Each tier on trailer should be counted and verified against load sheet before moving on to the next tier. Write down how many rolls are on each tier on the side of your load sheet.
- Verify that the total number of rolls on the trailer match the total number of rolls on the load sheet before turning in to have bill of lading created.
- Once bill of lading and packing list is created take all to the driver. Have one copy of the bill of lading signed to turn back in to shipping department. The remaining paperwork goes with the driver.
- All product labels on rolls/pallets leaving GFT should be facing out on the trailer so that customer can see each label as they are unloading the trailer.
- Ability to understand how many rolls go on each tier for each product that ships out of GFT and can repeat the process each shipment.
- Ability to keep the plant organized by understanding the correct location of each material and continuously stage each of these materials in the correct location every day. Fiber bales cannot be mixed within fiber rows. Each fiber type has to be separated from other fiber types.
- Fiber bales must be staged in the correct location, facing the correct direction, at the designated height (total number of bales stacked by fiber), with tickets consistently on the same side of the bale with room to inventory the tickets.
- All plastic should be located at designated areas.
- All tubes should be located at designated areas.
- All first quality roll goods should be stacked appropriately in the finished goods area
- All non-conforming rolls should be kept separately from first quality rolls
- Ability to maintain fiber supplies to both production lines.
- Ability to consolidate and organize material when waiting on trucks to be received or shipped.
- Ability to clean and organize warehouse space and finished goods storage when waiting on trucks to be received or shipped. The warehouse areas should be left neat and clean every day.
- Ability to load the waste truck when waiting on trucks to be received or shipped.
- Ability to count designated fiber bales as required by supervisor in allotted time frame.
- Responsible for completing any additional duties requested by management and shipping department as it relates to the warehouse areas.
