PAY: $21.90/Hour
SUMMARY
The Statesboro ISO Warehouse Associate reports to the Supply Chain Manager. The Warehouse Associate must be familiar with all areas of the fork truck driving procedures for safely loading and unloading trucks to maintain efficient, safe operations. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all order picking, order verification utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and loading of customer or carriers' vehicles in a safe manner. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities, and maintains a high focus on customer service, ensuring on-time deliveries consistently.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, logistics manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals
- Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve logistics, carrier and customer challenges
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, other)
- Familiar with standard warehouse concepts, practices and procedures
- Experience in fast-paced warehouse environment and safe fork truck operation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ninety percent of the job requires forklift operation
- Frequent sitting, walking and standing; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and balancing
- Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone
- Required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and product samples
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must continuously have the ability to differentiate colors precisely
- Required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to perform detailed testing processes in various process conditions
- Frequent use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Ability to read and concentrate via computer data entry typing and proofreading
- Regularly li and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
