Job Summary:
Plans and directs the human resource management activities for the organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and retention including compensation, talent acquisition, policies and procedures and regulatory compliance. Participates in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the strategic business and performance goals. Provides guidance to the CSO, CEO and senior leadership on matters concerning employment law and regulatory requirements. This position serves as the compliance point of contact for Human Resource activities. The position will be responsible for driving and meeting compliance related requirements specific to this area.
Essential Functions:
Functional Leadership – define and implement strategies, tactics, actions and measures in all human resources functional areas to facilitate the efficiency, effectiveness, capability and capacity of Diversus Health people to meet and/or exceed business goals.- Participates in all human resources areas to lead the direction of the human resources functions including, but not limited to, infrastructure/systems, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, total rewards, policy and procedure administration, training and talent development.
- Total Rewards – Oversee the design, development, and management of total rewards strategy including base pay, variable pay, health and welfare, work culture and environment, etc.
- Performance Management: Design, implement and maintain performance goal setting and feedback to help facilitate the achievement of company objectives.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging: In partnership with DEI&B, work to evolve and incorporate tenants into organizational policy, procedure and culture.
- Employee Relations – Provides leadership support to employee engagement related activities. Consults on employee relations activities. Ensures compliance with state, federal, and agency requirements to help to address and minimize legal and regulatory risks.
- Human Resource Information Systems: develop, implement and maintain the necessary electronic systems to facilitate the efficient and effective delivery of the Diversus human resource practices.
- Training and Development – Ensures the cost-effective deployment of targeted training and development-related strategies and activities aligned to key organizational needs.
- Organizational Effectiveness – Contributes to strategy development and overall organizational performance by providing consultation in HR-related matters, change management, communication, and other issues associated with organizational development and operational performance.
- Talent Management – Provides oversight for talent management strategy including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development, and pipeline management.
- Partner as an effective member of the senior leadership team by demonstrating behaviors that align with Diversus Health core leadership principles/behaviors and organizational values
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human resources field; Master's degree preferred
- Human Resources professional certifications preferred such as CCP, SCP, SPHR.
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in Human Resources
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience
- Proven successful experience in interacting with and influencing senior staff, community leaders and directors of boards
