Volleyball Team Coach Job at Chelsea Piers Connecticut Llc
Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT is looking for enthusiastic and passionate coaches for this year's club volleyball season. The season is from December 6 - May 8. Responsibilities include: practice planning and execution, in-game management, communication with parents/athletes, travelling to tournaments, and other general coaching duties. Both head coaching and assistant coaching opportunities available. Age groups ranging from U15-U18 with various time commitments available.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach competitive teams
- Instruct competitive team athletes
- Create a fun, safe and productive environment
- Attend all scheduled hours
- Create and implement age/skill appropriate practice plans for team
Qualifications:
- Exhibits an energetic, professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Ability to work independently or within a group
- Willingness to learn from and share knowledge with coworkers
- Enjoys working in team environment
- Must be energetic and enthusiastic
- Punctual and reliable. Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all times (CP Uniform)
- Prior team coaching experience
In August 2021, Chelsea Piers mandated that all employees are fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus in order to protect the health and safety of our staff, members and guests.
