POSITION SUMMARY
The VP, Marketing and Global Product Management is a highly collaborative, influential, and experienced senior leadership role responsible for leading the marketing function, roadmap execution, and launch of new global ECRI products and solutions.
This role works in conjunction with and alongside the Portfolio Leaders, functional leaders, as well as the Solutions, Medical, Strategy, and IT Offices.
This role covers responsibilities that span from working alongside the sales, client engagement center, and portfolio leadership teams to ECRI clients.
The successful individual will have a strong knowledge of marketing, pricing, and product management methodologies in North America coupled with experience in other regions around the world.

Essential Functions Statement(s):
- Proven marketing leadership experience
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Develop and implement cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
- Design, review, and manage the Marketing departments budget
- Develop, execute, and monitor all marketing campaigns, go to market strategies and marketing playbooks, and improve them when necessary
- Develop plans working alongside the sales, Client Engagement Center (CEC) and Portfolio Leaders, and portfolio leadership teams
- Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
- Participate in the annual planning of the companys goals and annual budget process
- Track and react to competitors activities
- Evaluate and execute the overall product, digital strategy and execution roadmap working in partnership with IT and in collaboration with Portfolio Leaders and the Solutions, Medical and Strategy Offices.
- Manage and execute new One-ECRI solutions products lifecycles and create product strategies and go to market strategies that ensure long term success
- Lead of the ECRI life cycle management (LCM) process and evolve the process over time to ensure optimal operations.
- Lead, develop and execute all pricing activities
- Set priorities and goals for the team in line with the organizational and departmental goals with clear metrics and outcomes.
- Set clear expectations for direct reports, and offer on-going guidance, development and coaching to help them achieve those expectations
- Manage day to day work of team through continually reprioritization and trade-off decisions; engage direct leadership for support in resolving misalignment of priorities or resourcing issues
- Proactively manage resources and make trade off decisions on specific work and tasks to achieve overall team goals
- Attract, develop, retain and engage talent in ways that create a high-performance environment
- Maintain current understanding of the external market landscape to identify and leverage best practices and learnings
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior role with a minimum of 10 years experience and a successful track record of revenue growth and product launch success in the healthcare space
- Deep expertise and success in defining and executing downstream and upstream marketing strategies
- Thorough understanding of healthcare market insights and experience in aligning market segmentation, target market sizing with product validation stages and go to market strategies
- Expertise in managing the marketing function, product funnel, aligning enhancements, product backlog and customer issue management
- Proven ability to work independently across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to partner with teams to define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure quality release of the product, timeliness, and go-to-market requirements
- Collaborate on annual business plan (i.e., playbooks) with portfolio leaders and collaborates with finance, sales, and marketing, as appropriate
- Previous success in bringing new products to market at a rapid pace
- Well versed in executing processes associated with launching products to the market, collaborating on go to market activities with marketing/sales and ability to influence and improve processes
- Excellent marketing and product judgment skills with ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, and drive detailed trade-offs
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, ability to establish common ground while managing conflicting points of view, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
- Experience with product marketing, particularly in portfolio development to successfully take products through ideation, validation, and effective go-to-market strategy.
- Full life-cycle product management experience within healthcare industry required.
- Strong product management skills including managing and executing product funnel and release timelines to completion through various stakeholders in IT, business lines and other functions.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques

Education:
- Bachelors degree in marketing or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
