About the Role:
The Vice President of Global Education will lead conceptualization, development and execution of all global education strategies, content development, trainings and events for the professional, retail and direct to consumer channels. In addition, they will oversee the Customer Experience team – ensuring high quality customer service in all channels to support pro and retail end consumers.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a global strategy to deliver high caliber digital-first 360 education to support an aggressive multi-channel expansion plan and help drive growth
  • Develop, motivate and grow a diverse global education team to drive engagement with professionals and consumers
  • Create learning models to connect with customers on a personal level, and to engage and educate with passion and expertise
  • Leverage digital platforms and technology to create innovative educational experiences
  • Oversee all curriculum development and digital asset creation for pro partner, retailer and consumer education
  • Strengthen and grow the global professional community – leading management of the Ambassador, Artist and Advocate programs
  • Oversee the Olaplex Pro digital channels – ensuring there is a continuous flow of new and inspiring education available to pros and a strong sense of community with all stylists
  • Lead development and execution of large-scale Professional Events including mainstage presentations and classroom breakout content
  • Ensure optimal retention of information and a thorough understanding of all Olaplex products is achieved in all education executions
  • Evaluate and improve current education infrastructure and scale for growth and new market launches
  • Develop strategies to improve speed to market of all education initiatives
  • Set the standards of excellence in facilitation and brand representation
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure synergistic messaging in all customer communications
  • Oversee copy development for usage instructions for all products and applications
  • Manage global education and customer experience budgets
  • Lead Customer Experience department – oversee all global CX Reps and third party companies for 8 global dot.com ecom sites.
  • Oversee management of live chat and email inquiries.
  • Ensure the CX team provides outstanding service to all customers and high satisfaction rates are maintained.
  • Work with supply chain, PD and legal to ensure timely and appropriate responses and actions for all customer inquiries/complaints

About You:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the haircare industry
  • Minimum 10 years experience leading Education
  • Seasoned facilitator adept at delivering high-caliber engaging trainings
  • Expert knowledge of developing content and trainings for both Pro & Retail channels
  • Experience delivering best in class education materials & trainings
  • Experience leading stylists and managing remotely
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence when addressing both key stakeholders and new audiences alike
  • Strategic thinker strong problem solving skills
  • Outstanding team player who is able to work collaboratively with all internal & external partners
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to embrace and lead change
