Vertical Machining Center Operator (Kitamura) Job at Wisco Industries, Inc.
Wisco Industries, a metal stamping and fabricator and manufacturer of food service equipment is seeking a Vertical Machining Center Operator to join our team on second shift. This position requires the operator to upload original programs with correct data, assemble and load tooling along with appropriate fixturing as required using setup sheets. Operator is required to perform quality precision machining to blueprint specifications and must be knowledgeable of CNC related equipment and programming code, in addition to familiarity of drilling, milling, and tapping procedures.
Job duties include:
- Following scheduling as directed by departmental supervisor.
- Making all required safety checks and machine adjustments to perform work and completing appropriate paperwork such as move tickets, set up sheets etc.
- Repetitively performing low and high volume machining of parts and meet expected quality and production standards. Vertical Machining Center Operator shall be responsible for the quality of product produced.
- Maintaining good housekeeping of the machines and area surrounding the machines. Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of consumables.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be able to twist, bend, reach, climb stand or sit as job requires.
Second shift work schedule is 3:30 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Thursday
