Essential Job-Related Responsibilities
Transport program passengers in company vehicle to and from designated locations.
Ensure all passengers are secured with safety belts prior to driving vehicle.
Monitor passengers during transit for the purpose of maintaining order and ensuring the safety of the passengers.
Fuel assigned vehicle for the purpose of maintaining vehicle in safe operating condition.
Prepare and complete all necessary documentation, including vehicle travel logs, incident reports, and miscellaneous paperwork/reports within required timeframes as requested.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle (e.g. fluid levels, tire pressure, exterior condition, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operating condition of the vehicle and meeting state requirements.
Maintain assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior (e.g. cleaning floors/windows/seats. Etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
Utilize safe crisis management techniques to manage situations involving agitated and/or hostile behaviors, without the use of physical restraints.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders. Ensures stakeholder satisfaction with the company by maintaining proactive, responsive communication. Maintains regular, proactive communication with key stakeholder groups, and builds new relationships as needed to further the company’s mission and vision.
Directs Communication with Management and Executives. Establishes and maintains frequent and regular communication with corporate executives. Notifies Supervisor immediately of events that could significantly impact unit or company.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
