Responsibilities:

Coach, develop, and mentor

Actively monitor, examine, and report on your team's performance and efficiency

Review data for any errors, correct any incompatibilities

Maintain accurate records of company data and information.

Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation

Communicate with leaders across the company to learn about any challenges, take advance of new opportunities, remove roadblocks, and ensure effective execution to help meet all company wide goals

Leverage your technical underwriting skill set to engage in a range of UW related initiatives involving training, implementing new protocols and overall management

Develop a high quality team by facilitating team dynamics, recognizing and evolving great talent, recommending process improvements, and ensuring you have a rockstar team

Requirements:

2-3 years managing a high performing underwriting team in the financial industry, with experience in small business or commercial underwriting (preferred)

A leader that enjoys developing talent, embraces empowerment, responsibility, and a high-performance culture creating a department that is always seeking new ways to distribute value and efficiency

Possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity focused on getting to the root cause of problems and implementing processes to fix them to generate results and exhibiting the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics

Experience with MS Excel and data programs

Typing speed and accuracy

Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation

Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
