Oatridge Security Group is looking for a Flex Security Officer to join its rapidly growing team. The Ideal candidate for this position has some experience working security, should have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and should enjoy changes in scenery. Our Flex Security Officers need to have flexibility in their schedule to take shifts on short notice, with primary availability on weekends (Friday through Monday) and Overnights. This position requires individuals that possess self-discipline, a good work ethic, and punctuality. Ideal candidates should already possess a guard card and have their own vehicle to commute around the Tacoma, Fife, and Puyallup areas.

Duties of an Unarmed Flex Security Officer:

· Responsible for conducting patrols and static security at client sites in and around Pierce and King county.

· Flex Officers will be required to have the ability stand on their feet for long periods of time, walk extensively and work outside in the elements (weather) for a full shift.

· Flex Officers may be required to operate company vehicles including cars, golf carts, and bicyles.

· Flex Officers should be comfortable participating in self defense training including martial arts, as well as willing to obtain OC certifications.

· Detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events, and emergencies.

· Provide Security for new sites until permanent Security Officers can be hired.

· Fill in for officers while on vacation/sick/no call-no show.

· Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.

· Will arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform and carrying needed issued equipment.

· Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned.

· Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders.

· Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.

· Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees and the general public

· Maintain poise and self-control under stress.

· Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.

· Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.

· Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays and be on call

· Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirement Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Prior military, civilian, or security officer experience preferred but not required.

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Required Skills Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

· Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

· Must have or be able to obtain a Washington State Guard Card

· Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
