Traveling Construction Remodel Technician, $21.00 - $24.00 hr
Full Time. Schedule: 9 Days traveling, followed by 5 days off

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Traveling Construction Remodel Technician at our Service Center, to perform Remodel Projects throughout regional facilities. Duties will include, but not limited to; Remodel of offices, docks/warehouse, mechanic shops, and other related stations. Company service vehicle and large tools/equipment (ladders, Hand Tools, Miter Saw, Tile Tools) provided. Extensive traveling (9 days on, 5 days off) required.

Responsibilities will include:
- Ability to Remove and remodel our current offices/bathrooms/facilities
- (Tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures and lines, drywall, painting, metal siding) and other as needed.
- Must have minimum 2 yrs experience in the following trades – electric, plumbing, framing, and carpentry.
- Remodel team will consist of one lead and one laborer
- Lead will be responsible for organizing, job planning and execution. Clear communication with direct supervisors and laborer.
Qualifications:
- Skilled trade experience in electric, plumbing, carpentry, welding & light equipment operation
- 5 yrs. experience in construction, carpentry, and remodeling
- Must be willing to travel extensively; 9 days out, 5 days home
- Valid driver’s license
- Good Motor Vehicle Record, with no driving restrictions
