Travel Counselor Job at Covenant College

The Travel Counselor is responsible to the Associate Director of Admissions to represent the college in various regions and fulfill duties on campus as assigned. This position may travel up to 50-74% of the time.

Duties:

  • Travel to represent Covenant College to external constituents including high-school staff, college fairs, church staff, and prospective families in various regions as assigned.This may include traveling with groups of prospective students to bring to campus for visit opportunities.
  • Develop prospective inquiries for undergraduate admissions and Covenant College Summer Institute from the earliest stage of interest.
  • Move a segment of regional student prospects to matriculates, being held accountable for measurable yields and all necessary communication to affect the overall college recruitment goals.
  • Partner with the Admissions Counselor team to achieve prospect and applicant goals; work in tandem to ensure that Covenant College is represented in all major markets during heavy recruitment and travel seasons.
  • Fulfill other such duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; graduate of Covenant College strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Covenant's philosophy of education, history, academic and co-curricular program, and core learning outcomes. Strong understanding of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and its core doctrines.
