Salary/Benefits: Salary is based on experience. Paid sick and personal leave, 9 paid holidays, partial Board paid Health Insurance, IMRF.
Type of Employment: Full-time permanent, 185-day contract.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in vocational rehabilitation, business, education, or related field. Experience working with youth with disabilities is preferred.
Duties: Working with high school teachers, assisting students with disabilities to prepare for employment by learning pre-employment skills, and participating in job-related activities. Follow guidelines developed by the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Rehabilitation Services to assist these students in seeking and maintaining employment as well as preparing for work and/or training after high school. The successful candidate will be able to work well with youth with disabilities, their parents and teachers, and business owners, managers, and staff.
