Transaction Posting Associate (Part Time) Job at Wings Financial Credit Union
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under general supervision, but in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations, accurately and professionally process member transactions as requested and assisting Facilities/Records/Mail Services/Security as determined.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accurately and efficiently post teller transactions and mortgage payments that come in through the mail daily.
- Assist with monitoring and auditing reports of transactions to ensure the automation is working as designed and employees are following procedure.
- Accurately applies technical job knowledge and skills to complete all work in a timely manner in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while managing varying degrees of work.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience as demonstrated by increased levels of accountability, knowledge and management.
- 1-2 years banking experience in the teller and/or member service fields preferred.
- Proven technical skills: ability to evaluate a need and utilize necessary technical skills to provide a solution.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, well organized, accurate and detail oriented.
- Recognize and analyze problems thoroughly, formulate and implement solutions.
- A professional demeanor, the willingness to participate as a member of a service oriented, and innovative team while demonstrating an enthusiastic attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Desire, ability and experience in working with and helping other people in a professional setting with a professional business appearance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment while having the desire to maintain quality of service.
- Position requires working knowledge of computer software (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office).
- Individual has knowledge of the competition, credit union products, policies and procedures and of federal rules and regulations.
- Position may require traveling to various locations, therefore must be flexible and dependable.
