MAJOR FUNCTION:
Provides services and assessments in accordance with professional standards and requirements of licensing/accrediting bodies. Develops & implements psychosocial activities. Documents both group and individual patient care intervention and outcomes in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Master's degree in mental health field such as Social Work or Counseling required.

Experience:
A minimum of one year in social work or related field required and greater than two years
preferred. Demonstrates working knowledge of current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual,
community resources, discharge planning activities, basic leadership skills, and decision-making
ability.

Certification:
Current New Jersey Licensure in applicable field required.
Clinical certification preferred. Current BLS American Heart Association preferred but required
within introductory period.
