Associate Therapists provide individual, couples and/or group therapy to adolescents and adults in an independent private practice setting. If you enjoy clinical freedom, working with systems and trauma impacted people, on-going learning opportunities, and personalized individual clinical supervision, Inner Expansions may be a great fit for you. The Associate Therapist works in-person with the option to provide virtual services at the request of the client. This position allows you to set a schedule that works for you. The ideal candidate will be independent, a great communicator, self-motivated and eager to learn. The Associate Therapist will receive paid weekly supervision and additional professional training. This is a W-2 position with paid administrative time.
Position Requirements:
- The Associate Therapist must be currently registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a ASW, AMFT, or APCC in good standing.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn our EHR system
- Have the organizational skills and discipline to maintain accurate and timely clinical records for all clients
- Ability to communication effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to structure time and excellent organization skills
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Maintain composure under high stress conditions and effectively manage crisis situations
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
- Training in EMDR, IFS, or DBT is preferred but not required
- Prior experience with children and adolescents is preferred but not required
- Completion of 1000 supervised clinical hours is preferred by not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $34.00 - $50.00 per hour
