Telecommunications Technician Job at Shook, Hardy and Bacon
Responsible for server aspects (software and hardware) of organization's server systems. Recommend, implement, diagram, and maintain server architectures and interface with LAN and WAN.
- Performs moves, adds and changes for the firms telephony systems and cost recovery systems.
- Responds to telephony systems and user problems to ensure the efficiency of the telephony systems. Including networking telephones via Ethernet LAN/ WAN, VOIP technologies, telecom equipment, Cisco, Zoom, Yealink phones, and softphones.
- Maintains vendor logs to ensure the quality of the service provided.
- Assists as needed to inventory, distribute and repair all Firm provided Apple and Android mobile.
- Generates statistical Voiceover IP, phone mail and vendor quote reports to provide information regarding the systems.
- Assists the in preparation, validation and processing of telephone bills in conjunction with the firms issued Apple and Android devices and cellular phones.
- Participates in the planning and coordination of telephone service for new offices.
- Provides AV Conference room support and set-up for video meetings and conference phones.
Salary range starts at $52,000 annually. Actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, and area of expertise.
Requirements: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in computer science or a related discipline; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience maintaining and troubleshooting Nortel telephone switches, VoiceMail and business telecommunications networks. Knowledge of wireless synchronization and cost recovery. Familiarity coordinating vendor installation and repair appointments.Please Note :
