Job : SAP Functional Lead
Location: Troy, MI

Summary:

The SAP Functional Lead is responsible for supporting, monitoring, and maintaining business operations activity associated with the SAP ERP landscape and integrated subsystems. These activities include direction and support for new design, documentation, configuration, development, implementation, maintenance, helpdesk support, and break/fix management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other related fields; Master’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year supervising an SAP Functional team
• Minimum of four (4) years hands-on experience working in SAP ERP or S/4HANA
• Participated in at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, along with functional documentation
• Broad comprehensive knowledge in the configuration and support of various SAP Logistics related solution areas such as Manufacturing (Production Engineering, Production Planning, Production Operations, Quality Management), Sourcing and Procurement (Invoice Management, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Operational Procurement), R&D Engineering (Project Systems, Product Lifecycle Management), Sales (Order and Contract Management), Service (Service Contract Management, Service Order Management, Service Request Management, Customer Engagement), Supply Chain (Logistics Execution, Inventory, Delivery and Transportation, Warehouse Management, Advanced Order Promising). Strong understanding of integration with Finance including Financial Operations
• Strong understanding of SAP technical components, such as Basis, Security, ABAP, HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori, Process Integration, etc.
• IT Project Management experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Supports the SAP Manager by directing and monitoring SAP S/4HANA Logistics resource activity including functional and technical work related to design, configuration, development, testing, integration, deployment, maintenance, security, and upgrades
• Supports the Business Process Coordinators, Business Process Owners, and Key Users, to understand SAP Logistics related business requirements and translating these into SAP functional and technical specifications
• Performs business process mapping using SAP standard methodologies
• Supports SAP Logistics functional configuration activities (MM, PS, PP, SD, QM, WM)
• Supports leadership for SAP technical development to meet business requirements, including development and oversight of workflow, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (WRICEF), and implementation of SAP Best Practices
• Applies strong knowledge of the SAP business processes for testing SAP functions
• Works with functional and technical resources to assist in the implementation and testing of new features or revisions to the ERP solution
• Conducts knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
• Supports the ERP system status metrics process
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of developments in related fields to recommend innovations improving the quality and effectiveness of the business solution

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
