Location: Hybrid/Shreveport, LA office.
Position Summary :
The Technical Analyst provides exceptional technical customer service to employees, contractors, and vendors of Seaside Healthcare and responsible for the technical end-user support for all employees and contractors. These responsibilities include but are not limited to providing end-user support of computers, laptops, and desktop phones via telephone, email, or web chat. The Technical Analyst responds to problems based on standard procedures that are established by the Director of IT, however some issues will require additional research and planning to resolve. This position requires the tracking of incidents, support calls and equipment inventory using the software and tools provided by Seaside Healthcare.

Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or higher in IT or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of experience, training, education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

Work experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a network endpoint complex environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of maintaining endpoint configuration for windows and apple workstations,
  • Office 365, Active Directory, and internet provider communications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and support skills and ability to work independently with available supervision.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Interpersonal Skills: Possesses oral communication and written skills for daily user interaction.

Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of travel is required for site visits and installations as required.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Assists IT team and users with troubleshooting tickets for printing, connectivity, security, and functionality. 40%.
  • Implements, maintains, and monitors workstation endpoints for security, compliance, and performance. 30%
  • Supports functional network infrastructure and endpoints 20% including:
    • Support of various network devices and services which include switches, and wireless LAN
    • Provide team support and troubleshooting to resolve issues on tickets related to endpoints, and ISP communication.
    • Appliance installation, configuration, warranty, and shipping.
    • Implement and maintain standard endpoint loading of all software, printer configuration, security tools, remote support tools, servers, policies, and procedures in conjunction with defined security standards while having direct interaction with end users to determine user needs and specifications.
    • Work with Director of IT, vendors, and other IT team members for problem resolution requirements.
    • Coordination of new endpoint preparation, and warranty.
    • Knowledge of VOIP telephone systems.
  • Other duties as assigned and determined and assigned by supervisor. 10%.
