Teacher Assistant Job at William Penn Center Preschool
William Penn Center Preschool is looking for an assistant teacher for our preschool classroom.
The best candidate for the position will have a love for children, patience, and a positive personality. Duties will include assisting with activities, collaborating with teachers to monitor the development of students and assisting with classroom supervision. We are looking for a teacher assistant with 2 years of experience working with children. This includes working at another center, babysitting, nannying, and volunteer work.
Experience/Skills: Knowledge of working with preschool children, ability to exhibit patience when communicating with children, families, and staff; the ability to project professionalism in conducting daily activities. 2 years experience working in child care required.
Education level: minimum of a high school diploma. CDA or Associates preferred.
Schedule: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Pay Range: $13.00 - $15.00 (depending on education level)
