Systems Engineer III
Location: Columbia, MD (on-site)
This role will support US Military Cyber Security and Incident Response personnel on their pre-mission and post-mission activities.

This role will support US Military Cyber Security and Incident Response personnel on their pre-mission and post-mission activities.
Duties include:
- Working directly with program, government, and military personnel to support system readiness pre-mission as well as collecting feedback regarding effectiveness post-mission and documenting.
- Work directly with mission members to identify requirements and provide them with solutions to meet individual mission requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining trouble tickets in accordance with a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Activities may include but are not limited to responding to support requests, documenting support requests, and identifying support needed to bring resolution to support requests.
- Hardware maintenance, software installation, licensing, warranty support, and property management.
- General facilities management of office space. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to assisting to resolve network issues, responding to heating/cooling issues, working with property management to escalate issues as necessary, site access support/control, and power supply management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Current TS/SCI or ability to obtain
- 4+ years in a technical field including networking, hardware support, or programming
- Working knowledge of VLANs, routers, firewalls, Linux, VMWare (or other virtualization technology)
- 2 + years of experience working with the Linux command line
- Familiarity with computer systems hardware (e.g. A+), data storage technologies (e.g. Databases), SharePoint, networking, information systems security
- Experience with system/software version control and management
- Experience working with release cycles and product changes
- Experience in developing system technical manuals and guides
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer support mentality, willingness to work directly with military, and knowledge of computer systems are all a must.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- US Citizen
- Experience with Python and Ansible
- Experience with VMWare ESXi or vSAN
- CISSP Certification
- Security + or Network + Certifications
