Application Support Manager – Direct hire – Atlanta, GA – Hybrid schedule
Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for an Application Support Manager with one of our premier clients in Atlanta, GA. This is a full, time, direct permanent position with a large, global company. You will work onsite in our Sandy Springs office on Tue/Wed/Thu and remote / work from home on Mon/Fri. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the application support team. This includes triaging, identifying, and prioritizing tickets, as well as managing the resolution of issues and bug fixes. The Application Support Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with various business units to ensure that support activities are aligned with business needs and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the application support team, including prioritizing issues and coordinating support activities
- Perform tier 3 application support, including troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing bug fixes and code fixes as needed
- Work closely with developers to prioritize issues and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
- Coordinate with various business units to ensure that support activities are aligned with business needs and objectives
- Manage the team's workload, including assigning tasks and setting deadlines
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide feedback and guidance as needed
- Ensure that the team is following best practices and procedures for issue resolution and escalation
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques related to application support, and share this knowledge with the team
Requirements:
- Experience performing tier 3 application support
- Experience managing/leading application support teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues, including database problems and code issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders across various business units
- Proficiency in SQL is required; experience with Java and/or API’s is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
