State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred for this position.
- Must have successfully completed a state approved nursing assistant program and successfully passed state test.
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
- Required to attend a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education programs provided by the center in order to maintain certification.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Our STNA's enjoy interacting with residents while engaging in the activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, personal hygiene, etc.
- Help residents prepare for and escort them to meals, activities, social programs and appointments.
- Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.
