Banyan Treatment Centers is currently recruiting nursing professional to join our team in Waelder, Texas as a Staff Nurse (LVN or RN) .

Schedules Available:

• 12 hours shifts, night shift availability is strongly preferred.

The Staff Nurse completes assigned nursing related services for each client. They are responsible for nursing assessments, providing routine nursing care, review of medication logs and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.

Essential Functions:

• Completes assigned nursing related services for each client.
• Responsible for nursing assessments
• Provides routine nursing care
• Reviews medication logs
• Assists in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.
• Facilitates medication education
• Incorporates nursing and medical issues into clients treatment plan
• Completes nursing documentation in accordance to facility and State requirements
• Administers medications, as needed

Qualifications:

• License to practice nursing as an RN or LVN, in the state of Texas.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma (Not HS) in Nursing, or higher.
• Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health is preferred but not required.
• Ability to reliably commute to facility, required: 4168 County Road 444 Waelder, TX 78959, USA
