We are seeking a Data Engineer focused on building highly available, large-scale, low latency data platforms to join our engineering team. You should be a talented, and motivated candidate who will get involved immediately by solving problems and
collaborating with the team to build out the platform.

Our engineering team is a highly collaborative unit that is responsible for creating enterprise data distribution applications and backend APIs for our external customers. Working directly with our stakeholders and end-users, the team builds toward the vision of delivering a high quality for our external customers.
Job Responsibilities:
You will join an existing team who are building a well-defined product vision. The team operates in a highly collaborative way, and you will be involved in all aspects of design, delivery, and support of the team's products. You will work with the whole team on adding features to the product continuously, and iteratively. You will collaborate with existing teams to learn our domain, and its unique challenges, while providing value to our customers. You will also collaborate with other KBRA engineering teams, and enablement teams (platform, security, and UX, for example) to develop, build, run and support our products.

Technical:
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js
- Experience working with enterprise systems, in an agile environment
- Relational and non-relational databases
- ETL Processes
- Data modeling
- Automated Database Migrations
- Experience with containerized deployment (Docker)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- AWS (DMS, RDS, S3)
- Disaster Recover/Data Recovery
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent debugging, issue resolution, and troubleshooting skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in working with Event Streams
- Pub/Sub experience
- Integrate features into the product, using (and improving) our CI/CD pipelines
- Overall technical quality of the product continues to improve
- You contribute alongside other team members, and the team's health metrics continue to improve
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 to $135,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
