Spring Break Camp Participants Job at Emerge Community Solutions, Inc
Emerge Community Solutions is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that exist to connect life with opportunity in under-served communities through entrepreneurship training, life skills mentoring, leadership development, community revitalization, and health and wellness initiatives.
Participant Summary
Camp Participants will participate in workshops and activities designed to provide leadership focused workshops and activities to young adult desiring to make a difference in our communities.
Students accepted and completing the camp will be paid a $100 stipend and invited to serve during our Summer Job Program in which they will have paid internships and additional scholarship opportunities.
Participant Responsibilities
Participant responsibilities include the following:
- Attend each day of the camp
- Be respectful and attentive to all presenters and fellow participants
- Be on time to each activity
Requirements
- High School Junior or Senior
- Desire to develop public speaking, organizational, oral and written communication skills, or creative problem solving skills
- Be positive and willing to serve
