Summary

Spire is seeking a Specialist, AMR to work in Kansas City, MO who would be responsible for the efficient routing and delivery of ITRON meter reads (succession and cycle) for Missouri West Field Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinates, evaluates and optimizes the daily activities of MOW’s meter reading operations
• Assists in instructing and training personnel in the use of the AMR maintenance system, AMR mobile collection systems, completion of activity reports, etc. Coordinates reading of routes as otherwise required for compliance with meter reading schedules
• Conducts information checks, as required, for maintaining and evaluating AMR data, answering questions, and handling problems
• Monitors and reviews reports on meter reading activities prepared by the electronic meter reading system
• Ensures billing estimates are at a minimum number
• Compiles studies and reports of AMR and Disconnect activity or special surveys for management.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

High school diploma or equivalent

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

• Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures pertaining to meter reading preferred
• Thorough knowledge of Itron AMR components and FCS, CCB preferred
• Knowledge of human relations, company bargaining unit contract and personnel procedures preferred

Physical demands, environment and schedule

• Normal Work Environment – Work is normally performed in a shared office environment
• Typically 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. After-hours work may be required
