Job Description- design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP) based on modified Massachusetts curriculum for each student dependant on student ability

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized instruction based on student needs
• Conducting evaluations in preparation for IEP development
• Using the results to develop measurable IEPs
• Special Education Teacher is responsible for monitoring IEP related programs to ensure accurate and consistent implementation

Qualifications

• Certified in Massachusetts Special education
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Related Teaching experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Background checks required
• Full Time (year-round) position

Full Job Description

Amazing organization that provides holistic care to children and adolescents with special needs is seeking a compassionate clinician to join their multidisciplinary care team.

Caseload will be student based- school is connected to a residential facility. Supportive staff include: teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, direct care, and behavioral support specialists.

Job Duties- The Clinician is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides mental health services to youth. The Clinician takes a strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and client-centered approach to working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Intake mental health assessments and implement treatment plans
• Provide one-on-one individual sessions within the program
• Maintain and update clinical records; write progress notes
• Provide case management and/or crisis intervention

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or related field required
• Massachusetts Social Work, mental health counseling or related license required or licensure eligible
• Related experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Background checks required
