Social Media Specialist Job at Clarus Glassboards
Job Purpose:
Clarus is seeking a trendy, fun, wickedly creative individual that can create digital content across all Clarus channels including social media. We are seeking someone that can think outside of the box beyond what’s been done before.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage social media channels and other forms of electronic communication
- Lead day-to-day management of digital channels/social media, creating inspirational, informative, and engaging content.
- Plan, produce and create content to be used across all digital channels/social media, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders.
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
- Conduct research on industry trends and topics related to the company’s products or services to help identify new trends or opportunities for growth
- Write and edit video scripts, blog posts, newsletters, e-books, white papers, case studies, and other content for websites, blogs, and other channels
- Create digital marketing campaigns including banners, text ads, pop-ups, and other forms of interactive content
- Develop and maintain a website or blog to post company news and product information
- Produce videos, podcasts, infographics, slide shows, or other digital media formats to engage customers in new ways
- Create and manage digital ad campaigns in collaboration with other team members to reach specific goals, such as increasing website traffic or boosting sales of a specific product or service
Requirements
- Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail
- Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
- Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe
- Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Ability to turn a concept into compelling content
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
- Energy, enthusiasm, and proven experience in producing digital content and digital best practice
- Knowledge and experience running digital marketing campaigns
- Experience of photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop
- Experience of video production, including filming, and editing
- Excellent attention to detail
