JOB INFORMATION

Social Media Coordinator - a professional who is responsible for collaborating with other members of the Bundle Birth team, namely the CEO, Sarah Lavonne, to develop and execute successful social media campaigns. They communicate daily about content creation and overseeing campaign schedules that determine success or failure by pulling key performance indicators (KPIs). They will repurpose previously created content, edit down, revitalize, and create new and postable content (text, image, and video) to impact target audience on multiple platforms included but not limited to Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, Pinterest, etc. Ultimately, this role should be able to increase brand awareness, web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Part-time or contracted, in-person, 15-20 hrs/week
Pay Range: $29-35/hr (commensurate with experience and expertise)
Room for Promotion/+ hours; Open to expansion based on performance and KPIs (community growth and sales)
If contracted, DBA (Business Entity) preferred for this position/role

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Passionate about education and support for birthing people and Labor & Delivery nurses
  • Creatively tell the story and embody the culture of Bundle Birth, with vision and aesthetic
  • Research audience preferences, discover current trends, stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Creating engaging text, image and video content for multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, Pinterest, etc
  • Writing copy for email newsletters and posts
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics; schedule and publish social content regularly
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and creating buzz around new products, classes, and services; suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
  • Measure web traffic and analyze SEO metrics; utilize social media analytics tools to collect data and generate reports
  • Train coworker(s) to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries; report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans; moderation and management across all social platforms
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Liaise when appropriate with influencers, blogs, and other outlets related to Bundle Birth’s brand and operations
  • Alongside the Bundle Birth team, grow in the ability to find medically-related sources, verify credibility of data, sources, and evidence; translate and synthesize articles for public and social media use
  • Attend and aid on scheduled film days, live events, and team meetings/retreat(s) - some weekends
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience with social media and content management
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of digital metrics, in order to analyze SEO, keyword research, and social media KPIs
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • Flexibility with scheduling (some weekends)
  • Integrity and confidentiality regarding Personal Health Information (PHI) and Client Information
  • Ability to function independently, with initiative and resourcefulness to solve problems, specifically for a startup
  • Experience in health-based business, health education, birthing people’s empowerment, and/or public health preferred
  • Bachelors’ Degree preferred with an emphasis in Social Media, New Media, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing or Design
  • Local (based in Los Angeles, ability to commute to 90004)
