Sober Coach Job at Exodus Recovery Inc.
Exodus Recovery, Inc is looking for per diem and full time Sober Coaches for our Sobering Center located in Los Angeles, CA.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sober Coach is an integral part of the treatment team. The Sober Coach is actively involved in providing direct or indirect care and supervision of the clients under the direction of the Recovery Supervisor and Program Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- As applicable, maintenance of continuous sobriety of 24 months or longer and a stable psychiatric condition of a minimum of 12 months. Extensive personal and/or professional knowledge of challenges of developing and maintaining a sober and healthy lifestyle.
- Two (2) years clinical experience in the substance abuse field and patient care.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Meets qualifications for driving through the approved human resources process
- Current CPR certification under the American Red Cross guidelines within (30) thirty from employment is required.
- Non-violent crisis certification preferred.
Commensurate with experience.
COVID vaccination preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.78 - $23.96 per hour
