Shop Manager Job at Houston Healthcare
- Position Summary:
The Gift Shop Coordinator is responsible for purchasing inventory, marketing, record keeping and management of volunteer staff at the gift shops at Houston Healthcare Warner Robins and Perry campuses. This position is accountable to the Auxilliary Board and the Volunteer Services Supervisor.
- Qualifications:
- Education & Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Experience:
Experience in the areas of buying, marketing, bookkeeping and management; ability to communicate results; is skilled at recognizing weaknesses and strengths in staff and has the ability to train to make improvements; ability to delegate responsibilities and support outcomes; knowledge of lifting techniques; proficiency with a calculator; basic math skills; ability to exercise judgment; ability to interact with all types of people; ability to accept supervision; ability to switch to different projects with minimal notice; ability to listen effectively to others; ability to remain calm in stressful situations; ability to learn new information; ability to learn new procedures; ability to apply oral instructions; ability to follow through with projects to completion; ability to develop documents; ability to proof documents; ability to read; ability to file and retrieve information; ability to be sympathetic/empathetic; ability to maintain composure with irate customer; ability to maintain confidential information; ability to use time effectively.
